For over thirty years, Riders in the Sky have been America's leading singing cowboy group, firmly grounded in the rich American music traditions of such legendary cowboys singers as Gene Autry, Roy Rogers, and the Sons of the Pioneers. Indeed, the Riders - Ranger Doug (Idol of American Youth), Woody Paul (King of the Cowboy Fiddlers), Too Slim ("a Righteous Tater"), and Joey (the CowPolka King)-have single-handedly revived and revitalized an entire music genre. They have won multiple Grammy awards, been inducted to the Grand Ole Opry and the Western Music Association Halls of Fame, hosted their own shows on TNN and CBS, and hit the silver screen with their tune "Woody's Round-Up", which was featured in Pixar's Toy Story 2. While remaining true to the integrity of Western music, they have themselves become the stuff of legend by branding the genre with their own legendary wacky humor and way-out Western wit - all along encouraging buckaroos and buckarettes to live life "The Cowboy Way!"
